The ISES UK Chapter is managed by a voluntary board of industry professionals, made up of dedicated individuals from a wide range of organisations from within the UK events industry. Board member’s time and skill is given freely, they balance their challenging ISES responsibilities with those of their own often busy and demanding careers.

The UK Chapter President represents and leads the UK chapter to all members and the global ISES network. He has the responsibility to deliver the vision of membership growth, a compelling events and educational programme and the building of relationships between the industry and the association globally. The President chairs the ISES UK board meetings and hosts ISES events. The President is the official spokesperson for the chapter.

The IPP supports the President and President Elect in all board and policy issues. The holder of this position is also the ambassador representing the Chapter whenever possible at ISES and industry events, when the President is unavailable. The IPP is also responsible for overseeing the nomination and voting procedure.

Next year’s ISES UK Chapter President. The presidential year runs from 1st July until 30th June. Supports the President and is involved in the global communication network and is responsible for particular projects or initiatives as decided by the President.

Responsible for all finances and budgets for the chapter, the VP Finance manages the bank account, produces monthly financial reports and statements, issues expenses and payments to suppliers and monitors the subscription revenue. The VP Finance is supported by a part time Accounts Assistant.

The VP Education builds close links with universities and the industry to offer graduates the opportunity to work with ISES member companies in the UK. The VP Sponsorship works with other industry associations and trade shows in the UK to seek mutual benefit and increase the presence and profile of ISES. The VP also looks for new sponsorship opportunities, and manages the existing roster of sponsors, ensuring that they receive maximum benefit from their involvement.

The VP Marketing works to promote ISES and its work to the widest possible industry audience, also supporting the VP Membership to increase membership and identify new sources of revenue. A full time member of staff responsible for the day to day management of membership and events activities of the UK Chapter and European Affiliate of the International Special Events Society (ISES). Working directly with each member of the board, the ISES (UK) Ltd Manager is a key point of contact for sponsors and ISES members alike ensuring that the programme of every sector of the Society is facilitated.
