ISES to support POD in 2008

For those of you who have received the latest copy of RSVP magazine, you will have read that our Member of the Month for December 2007 is Theme Traders Director and co-owner, David Jamilly. ISES UK have been keen to establish a link with a charity for 2008 and have found David's commitment to Pod to be a truly inspiring story.

Founded in 1977 by David himself, Pod is a charity that tours children's hospitals nationwide, having begun its work at Great Ormond Street, with the aim of bringing back the smiles to the faces of lots of sick children with a host of fantastic performers. This year Pod entertainers will have provided 1800 shows across Britain and made 20,000 children feel better.

We were overwhelmed by the support, generosity and genuine, heartfelt dedication of so many entertainers and familiar faces from the special events industry, old and new, when we attended the Thank You evening for friends and contributors at Claridge's Ballroom in October.

ISES would like to commend David on this wonderful achievement and wish him and the rest of the team at Pod the best of luck for 2008.
