SEARCH Foundation and The Special Event Scholarship Opportunity

The SEARCH Foundation has teamed up with the The Special Event to provide scholarships for the Full Education Registration at the Show. This years TSE will be held in New Orleans January 12th through the 15th.
One member of each active ISES chapter will be nominated, and selected, by each chapter and approved by SEARCH. This one-time promotion was made possible by the merging of ISEF (International Special Events Foundation) into the SEARCH Foundation. Our Foundation is committed to carry out the continuing education principles established by ISEF.

This scholarship is given with the expectation that the selected candidates will grow from the experience and develop into an even more productive member of the event community.
Attached is all the information you will need to assist you in selecting your candidate. But hurry; all applications must be filled and submitted to SEARCH by November 23, 2009.
We look forward to seeing you all at TSE and encourage you to attend the major SEARCH Fundraising Event to be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010.

The Special Event Tradeshow & Conference
a. Criteria for nomination, TSE 2010:
i. Candidate must be a member in good standing for a minimum of two (2) consecutive years
ii. Candidate will be evaluated as an emerging leader within the industry – supporting examples must be provided
iii. Candidate has never attended The Special Event Education Program
iv. Candidate must compile a summary report and present to local chapter
v. Candidate will be responsible for securing and paying for their own travel and entertainment including but not limited to: ground transportation, lodging, meals, etc.
vi. Scholarship program does not include tickets to showcasing events or any other program/conference produced by or in conjunction with The Special Event Tradeshow & Conference including but not limited to Single Day Workshops and NACE Certification Exam
vii. Registration is not transferable
viii. Registration is only valid for The Special Event 2010
ix. All applications for consideration must be filed on or before November 20, 2009
