| ISES Networking and 'Cook-Off' at De Vere Venues Holborn Bars in association with Harden's
Time: From 6.30pm to 10.00pm A BIG thank you goes to everyone who attended our March networking and showcasing event at the magnificent Holborn Bars by De Vere Venues. We were thrilled to be able to work in association with our media partners Hardens on this event to combine two fabulous guestlists and open the networking arena to a rich list of hand-picked corporate buyers to our members.
Guests were greeted by the ever efficient Outstand, who produced the badges for registration, and a delicious glass of wine by Revelstoke served by the bowler hat wearing staff from Admiral Group! Formerly a bank and dating back to the early 1900s, the bowler hats were not the only hint at the venue's historical charm since new members H2oh! Entertainment provided us with the stunning still living statue, as pictured below, providing a show-stopping focal point in the entrance-way as guests arrived. After a presentation by ISES president Will Broome, our host Alison Ayling from De Vere Venues, and our sponsor Richard Harden, we had a dynamic interactive treat from James Osbourne of Innergy. Our large 200 strong audience were taken out of their comfort zone and encouraged to connect with the stranger next to them in a hugely fun excercise that focussed on recognising personality types.
For the final part of the evening there were guided tours of the venue followed by bowl food and further drinks in the restaurant. Two guests, Petra Bones from Somerset House and Scott Blumsom from Vinopolos, were put through their paces by the venue's head chef when they were thrown fantastically fun 'cook-off' concept in Steam, Bake and Thrill! Well done Petra for being our crowning champion!
