Crossing Channels: Next Stop New York was a collaborative effort of the “Twin Chapter” committees of both the ISES NY Metro Chapter and the ISES UK Chapter. The semi-simultaneous events linked members from each side of "The Pond' and this unique program also benefited the SEARCH Foundation!
Both Chapters used social networking outlets such as Twitter, YouTube and Skype to turn two chapter events into one continuous experience with London handing over the baton to New York as our event finished and theirs began.
Thank you to everyone who attended our first Twin Chapter simultaneous event. Freemason's Hall became Grand Central Station for night with star and stripes, Uncle Sam and salt beef sanwiches! Wandering New York characters greeted guests and thrust them into the spirit of things as they arrived from the office to an all-American evening!

After a presentation from President Will Broome (did we mention he dressed in a glittery Captain America suit!?) in the incredible Grand Temple which included a video message from our friends in ISES New York and a guest appearance from Steve Tait founding member of ISES Hong Kong, we were able to make live contact with the New York Chapter via Skype as they set up their London themed event.
Pictures of our guests against a green screen for American themed photo giveaways by 1Vis were also being downloaded live to the New York event!
The SEARCH Foundationsupports event professionals confronted with a catastrophic occurrence and fosters, develops and promotes educational initiatives for the advancement of the industry.
