Thank you to everyone who attended our event last week at The Louise Blouin Foundation who were greeted in this impressive contemporary gallery and events space by sci-fi bewigged clones who presented them with the delectable culinary delights of deWintons caterers and kept them refreshed with fruity summer cocktails by Collective Minds.
After a buzzing drinks reception in this super contemporary and spacious entrance, guests were grouped and escorted up in the lift by members of the ISES board who then encouraged rapid-fire ‘ice-breakers’ in this forced (though beautifully lit!) environment. Once upstairs we heard from online marketing and communications expert Simon Burton (of Exposure and Excite!) who gave us innovative and accessible advice on how to market ourselves in the recession. Much of our online solutions can now be obtained completely free to those who are able to move with the times and keep abreast of the digital age! I wonder how many of our guests have subsequently joined Twitter in order to follow Simon’s further words of wisdom!Networking continued downstairs where there was a dramatic reveal of the main gallery space. With furniture by DesignScene, creative lighting by Hawthorns, and an incredible ice bar and sculptural displays by The Ice Box, the contemporary gallery space was thoroughly brought to life with a decidedly futuristic feel. Thank you to Urban Groove by Full Circle for playing out the rest of the night with a cool bongo and DJ set. |
