ISES on board Thames Executive Charters
Date: From 29 Apr 2010 Time: From 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Thank You To Everyone Who Attended!
ISES UK members boarded a sunset cruise along the Thames on 29 April in the first of a series of three networking and education events to conclude the 2009/2010 Board activities. Guests embarked the Thames Executive Charters vessel at Festival Pier behind the Royal Festival Hall.
On board, they enjoyed a barbeque and networking quiz introduced by strategist Andy Lopata as the boat sailed from Waterloo to Battersea, passing key London landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and Battersea Power Station. Quiz prizes were provided by the Crazy Bear Group, Village East and Cowshed beauty products. Guests were also entertained by a magician, supplied by Sharper Solutions. |
| ISES UK President Zanine Adams said: “I can’t believe how fast my year as elected President is going and we still have so many exciting things to cram in before a new Board, under the stewardship of President Elect Richard Foulkes, takes over in July. Our sunset cruise was a relaxed informal networking event to kick start the summer.'' |
In the next two months we will be staging an ISES Talks in Partnership with Harden’s seminar at Kings Place on 18 May with two very high profile brand marketing speakers and a networking evening at Kent House in Knightsbridge on 21 June. “If you’re passionate about your work in the UK events industry and would like to give something back in order to help the industry as a whole develop, then we’d love to talk to you at one of our next two events about an involvement with ISES UK committees dedicated to Programmes, Education, Sponsorship and Student Development.”
Quiz winners from the ISES On Board Thames Executive Charters event were:
Claire Llewellyn from Sound & Vision Sandy Harper from Sharper Solutions Jon Culverhouse from Fantastic Fireworks |
