Thank you to everyone who attended this month’s event, ISES Talks: Perspectives of Marketing in Today's World at Kings Place. We hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did and found the content of our panel discussion both motivating and relevant. Facilitated by our VP Communications, Mike Fletcher, we were thrilled to welcome Mark Simpson, Marketing Director for Ford of Britain, Rob Smith Partner of Ogilvy Advertising, and David Girling of Imagination to the stage. This enthralling presentation on their views on the evolution of experiential marketing and how they applied this to the recent Ford Fiesta launch hopefully inspired you. We would also like to extend our thanks to Kings Place for providing a truly impressive extravaganza of a showcase and one that will lead to an ardent interest from the special events industry, we are sure.
Preceding our education forum in the impressive auditorium of Hall 1, guests enjoyed mouth-watering fruity bellinis and canapés, with service supported by Admiral Group catering staff, with a relaxing summer evening view across the canal from The Rotunda. Returning to the party after the presentation, guests could network the ISES way in a uniquely sociable setting of a glamorous cocktail party with an eight piece jazz troupe to wow the crowd with their grand piano virtuosos and schmoozing saxophonists sponsored by Spitz. How many networking events have you been to that has been party to an impromptu and highly entertaining oyster shucking competition where you can tuck into these delicacies from a mouth-watering display afterwards? An additional thank you goes to Thorns for providing the cocktail bar and illuminated furniture, BIG for our efficient registration and branded badges, and the talented Georgina Cranston for photographing our event. |
