ISES at Confex
 'The ISES networking event in partnership with Visit London on 13th February at International Confex was a resounding success with over 200 guests enjoying the sumptuous surroundings of the London Bar. This was a fabulous opportunity for ISES and Visit London members to relax and network together over a glass of (Revelstoke!) wine after a busy day at the show. The London Bar itself was beautifully and inventively designed by Partridge Events, whose Director, Jacqui Partridge, was presented with a gift for long standing service after she stepped down from the Board of ISES following an incredible three and a half years as VP Events. Innovative music was provided by Sternberg Clarke which set the scene and Bashbars created a wonderfully stylish up-lit central bar. Other sponsors included Gallowglass, 1Vis, Colorset, In Water, Thorns, Great Hire and Hawthorns.'

'For the first time, ISES UK was represented on its own stand at International Confex 2008. There was considerable interest from those attending the exhibition & there is no doubt ISES continues to gain credibility here in the UK with potentially 15 - 20 new members wanting to sign up. What is equally exciting is the growth potential for ISES in other parts of the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Guests from the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Dubai all visited the stand. Myself and Steph subsequently met with one of the Dubai visitors with a view to setting up a new Chapter in the coming months.' Once again Visit London have teamed up with ISES to create the London Bar and Lounge at International Confex 2008. Designed as an excellent networking opportunity the London bar and lounge, designed by Partridge Events, provides a fantastic opportunity to expand the ISES network, attracting new members, whilst providing both sponsors and existing membership maximum potential to create new business opportunities. This year the bar was a huge success thanks to Partridge Events who turned the space into a cool, urban chill out area with entertainment provided by Sternberg Clarke. Running for a second year, the London bar was created through a partnership between Visit London, ISES and International Confex providing ISES members with the opportunity to meet and network with hundreds of buyers from the Conference and Incentive market, along with Visit London partners and guests. Having played host to over 250 domestic and international guests during the ISES networking event, it really emphasized the great working relationship between the 3 organisations, and the opportunity for ISES members to benefit from the wider events community.'
