ISES UK Wins Big

ISES board members Richard Foulkes, Zanine Adams and Andy Callin have all been internationally recognised for their services to the UK Chapter during ISES Eventworld that took place in Baltimore on the 5 - 7th August 2010. The ISES UK Chapter grew its membership by 20% this year and was acknowledged at the ISES Spirit of Excellence Awards. The awards identify quality across all ISES worldwide Chapters taking in to account membership retention, growth and communications. Richard Foulkes, UK Chapter President and Zanine Adams, Past President picked up the ‘Mettle Attitude Award’, a joint award given to volunteers who consistently perform for their organisation even in the most challenging times. For Adams it was a double win as she was also presented with the 'Membership Award'.
ISES UK Director at Large, Andy Callin, collected the ‘Volunteer Award’, given to individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, being constantly available to assist and who have performed their job in a tremendous and professional manner.
Foulkes commented on their success “we are thrilled to be recognised for these fantastic awards and we hope it demonstrates the strength of our Chapter even in these challenging times. Our membership figures have grown 20% this year and we believe this shows our credibility as a major player in the creative event marketing arena. We are working hard to ensure ISES UK provides quality and value to our membership and we rely on a great team of board members and committees to deliver ideas that connect and inspire our members”.

Also picking up an award at Eventworld was Sally Webb, ISES President 2000-2001. Sally took home the Esprit Award '2010 ISES Best Corporate Event Budget $75,000 - $200,000 USD' for the 2009 Annual Awards Meeting and Gala.
