Sponsor Spotlight: Welcome to 33 Fitzroy Square
04 Dec 2009

Fitzroy Square 33 Fitzroy Square is looking forward to opening its doors and welcoming ISES members to the Christmas House Party on the 8th December. This quintessential Georgian town house overlooks one of London’s finest garden squares and we look forward to introducing you to this exciting historic venue.

The house was built by the great Robert Adam in the eighteenth century and has played host to illustrious guests ever since. In the early twentieth century it became the home to the Omega Workshops, and a focus for the artistic and literary circles who made the area famous. Leading figures of the Bloomsbury Group Roger Fry and Vanessa Bell established a creative centre where Modernist painters and artists in London could develop and showcase their work, where they were visited by figures such as Virginia Woolf, Picasso, Gertrude Stein and leading London socialites.

Fitztroy  With diverse event spaces over several floors, including a grand drawing room with floor to ceiling windows, a soundproofed screening room and demonstration kitchen, the house has recently been restored to its former glory as a grand London residence, with stunning period features combined with discreet contemporary touches and state-of-the-art technology throughout.
33 Fitzroy Square is a part of The Venue Collection, a number of new and exclusive venues brought to the events industry for the first time by Rouge and Amazing Space.
