“Confex’s branding and advertising has become increasingly recognised over the last few years, positioning the show as the leading UK event. With a fresh colour palette our campaign and website will feature the new theme ‘surround yourself with inspiration’ encouraging visitors to discover the most ingenious ideas amongst the 1000 exhibitors at the show,” said Portfolio Director, Duncan Reid.
To reflect the show’s high standards Confex 2010 will be complemented by a range of new features. These include a hosted buyer programme, The Theme Factory, PA Day, the Great Outdoors area and as always comprehensive educational content and fantastic networking functions. And, in continuing to support and highlight the show’s growing international sector visitors to Confex will be thrilled to know Taste the World will return.
“In defiance of the economic climate our visitor numbers continue to grow proving just how resilient the events industry is. A great deal of care has been placed in creating next year’s show features. We want our visitors to continually be inspired by what Confex has to offer which is why we are pleased to introduce the hosted buyer programme,” said Reid.
Over 100 hosted buyers from the UK and Europe will be invited to participate. The programme includes complimentary travel, accommodation and a two day programme dedicated to providing business opportunities, professional development and inspirational ideas for all types of event planning.
Also new for 2010 is PA Day. Taking place 25 February, secretaries and personal assistants will benefit from investing an afternoon or the whole day to source the best venues, pursue new ideas and speak with event experts on hand. PA Day promises an outstanding line-up from Nirvana, a relaxation oasis offering free spa treatments, to fashion shows, impressive educational programmes and a colourful gossip board leaking the latest industry secrets and hot tips.
As part of the show’s ever growing commitment to enhancing the visitor experience The Theme Factory will showcase 6 different theme specialists who will transform their given area and demonstrate their talents when it comes to enhancing an event or area. The Theme Factory will present the best in the industry and creates the ideal atmosphere to network and get ideas for your next event.
Confex has long since recognised the importance of innovative ideas. In partnership with De Boers, the Great Outdoors area will showcase six pagoda style peak roof tents encompassing the industry’s leading products and services in the world of outdoor events. So whether you’re looking to organise an event in the glorious summer or cozy winter visiting the Great Outdoors will provide you with the most innovative ideas for all manner of outdoor events and pursuits.
In addition to the new features for 2010, next year’s show will see the return of the ever popular London Bar, Live Bar, Nirvana, Advice Centre & CV Clinic and Confex Knowledge. As the premier event in the industry Confex provides the perfect platform for visitors and exhibitors alike to come together over 3 days and undertake serious business.
International Confex 2010 will be held 23-25 February at Earls Court, London on Tuesday, with extended show times 10am-7pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10am-5pm. Confex is the leading UK event attracting 1000 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors with a total attendance of around 15,000 at the show.
