Description:The Events Manager position is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a Hospitality degree to be involved in an operational and administrative capacity over the whole range of the business.
Forty Hall is an established venue based in Enfield Middlesex. Our experienced team look after all aspects of food, planning, operation and design for a wide range of events. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Hotel/Catering/Hospitality management - essential Experience whilst at university in a supervisory role in F&B or banqueting Interest in managing operations Must be able to drive
Attributes Neat and tidy appearance Good knowledge of food and wines Understanding of service styles and standards Knowledge of professional word processing package with good keyboard skills
This position would suit a graduate who has just qualified. Salary £18 - 20,000.
Job Responsibilities Operations Event co-ordination and supervision Internal controls and financial management Stock controls Back- of- house and logistic co-ordination
Staff Supervise and control operational staff Briefings, supervision and training
Administration Organisation of events with clients by telephone and visits Function specifications and event planning Ordering linen, disposables etc
